Route description
We start by heading towards the Font Vella de Ráfales, where a little further on we will see the beginning of the path. The route begins with a gentle descent through crops, pine trees, holm oaks and olive trees, among which some particularly impressive specimens can be found. Once we reach the bottom of the descent, we cross the Val de Fórnoles and continue along a fairly flat track between fields of almond trees and olive trees.
We alternate between woodland and the crops typical of this area (olive trees, almond trees and some vines) until we reach a flatter area where we can see the ruins of what was the "Mas de Soldevila", an old farmstead with two large cisterns built to supply water to the livestock and the inhabitants of the mas.
From here, we climb again along drovers' lanes and well-laid agricultural tracks until we reach the highest point of the route, from where we can see the village of Fórnoles — hidden until now — which only appears when we are almost directly above it.
