Welcome to Lledó

With roots stretching back to the Iberian era, Lledó is a piece of history in the Comarca del Matarraña. Since the era of the Christian conquest, when King Pedro II of Aragon gave Lledó to the bishop of Tortosa, this land has evolved while maintaining its uniqueness.

This village is defined by its position on a hilltop, giving it a hillside structure. A clear example of this is its plaza Mayor, made up of several levels.

Town hall

The town hall (casa consistorial) building manages to adapt to the slope of the terrain, creating two distinct urban spaces: one to the east, facing the church, with a covered passage connecting to the first floor of the town hall; and another to the south, in front of a small square where the "lonja" (porticoed hall) opens with its two round arches.
