Arens de Lledó, or Arens de Lledó in Catalan, is one of the easternmost villages in the Matarraña region. Strategically located next to the picturesque Algars River valley, its natural surroundings are a picture-perfect scene, where vineyards, olive groves, and almond orchards blend harmoniously with the dense Mediterranean forest. The village sits at an altitude of 381 meters above sea level and covers an area of 34.32 km².

Entering the heart of the town through the historic Portal de Baix, visitors are transported to streets that seem frozen in time. This urban layout, of Muslim origin and expanded over the centuries, leads to such significant landmarks as the Plaza Mayor, the emblematic Casa de la Tía Soledad, the majestic Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, and the enigmatic ruins of the Old Convent of San Francisco.
