Route description
The trail runs parallel to the TE-V.3303 road that links Cretas with Lledó. The walk begins about 500 m from the town centre of Cretas, on the left side of the road connecting Cretas with Calaceite (A-1413). Soon we enter a cobbled drovers' path between dry-land crops (olives, almond trees, vines...).
After rejoining the Cretas–Calaceite road, we cross it. To our right, on higher ground, stands the hermitage of the Misericordia — well worth a short detour to admire its beautiful architecture. The trail, once again cobbled, continues on the left and enters an area that alternates woodland with cultivated fields.
Around the halfway point, now within the municipal boundary of Lledó, we pass through the Les Moletes area, which at nearly 600 m above sea level marks the highest point of this trail. Pine trees and holm oaks, together with more cultivated land, dominate the landscape along this stretch.
The final third of the trail descends gently. Crops — particularly olives and vines — become increasingly prominent as the woodland gives way, drawing us closer to our destination. One last downward slope and a final climb bring us to the village of Lledó, dominated by the lovely sight of its square, with the parish church of Santiago Apóstol — retaining elements of its Gothic origins — and the arcaded town hall.
