The calderons of La Fresneda

In La Fresneda, we celebrate a centuries-old tradition unique to the Matarraña, in which children and adults make a great deal of noise dragging with a rope the “calderons” made from drinks cans, pots and old pans during the morning of 5 January. This way, the Three Kings do not forget us and arrive in the afternoon loaded with gifts and excitement.
