Programme of events for the celebration of the feast of Santa Águeda in the Comarca del Matarraña on February 9th, 10th and 11th in Beceite, Fórnoles, La Fresneda, Mazaleón and Valjunquera.
Saturday, 10/02/2024
- 9:00 a.m. Hot chocolate and charanga band, at the square.
- 12:30 p.m. Speech and handover of power, at the square.
- 1:00 p.m. Mass with street parade.
- 3:00 p.m. Lunch at the palau.
- 11:00 p.m. Mobile disco and costume contest.

- 2:00 p.m. Santa Águeda lunch.
Sunday, 11/02/2024
- 1:15 p.m. Mass in honour of Santa Águeda.
Friday, 09/02/2024
- 9:00 p.m. Bonfire lighting and distribution of casquetas, drinks, bingo and sale of brazos de gitano.
Saturday, 10/02/2024
- 11:00 a.m. Procession with the rondallas from the Capilla del Pilar, for the flower offering to Santa Apolonia and Santa Águeda. Baturra mass in honour of Santa Águeda.
- 1:30 p.m. Brotherhood lunch for all women. (Sign up by February 1st at the Town Hall.)
- 6:00 p.m. Theatrical and musical comedy show, by the women's group of La Fresneda.
- 8:30 p.m. Dinner for all who wish to attend; a raffle will be held among all attendees during dinner. After dinner, end-of-party dancing.
Friday, 09/02/2024
- 8:00 p.m. Nibbles and a special evening full of rhythm, for everyone. At the social hall.
Saturday, 10/02/2024
- 10:15 a.m. Gathering at the Plaza de España and walk to the Church with the Rondalla de Mazaleón.
- 10:45 a.m. Mass and procession in honour of the Saint. Afterwards, vermouth for attendees.
- 2:00 p.m. Lunch and many surprises; sign-ups at the Town Hall on February 2nd and 3rd.
Saturday 10/02/2024
- 5:00 p.m. Mass in honour of Santa Águeda. Blessed bread will be distributed at the end.
- 6:00 p.m. Hot chocolate at the Bar lounge.
- 6:30 p.m. Theatrical performance by the "Chirinola" group.
- 9:00 p.m. Welcome cocktail for the most fun night of the year.
- Dinner and many surprises.
