San Miguel de Espinalva

This is the highest-altitude viewpoint that ventures into the Puertos de Beceite massif. The starting point is the Pantano de Pena. From the dam, go around the Pena reservoir until reaching the junction with the Pena river. Follow the markers of trail PR-TE-155 towards San Miguel d'Espinalbar.

This is the only viewpoint from which no settlement is visible, as it lies within the Puertos de Beceite massif. Landscapes of calcareous rocks sculpted by water and wind over time, with pine and holm oak forests.

From this point you can appreciate very clearly emblematic landmarks of the comarca: to the north la Caixa and Peña Galera, to the south the Tossal de Encanadé and the Tossal del Rei (the boundary of Aragon, Valencia and Catalonia). You can also see Les Moletes de Arany and the Racó del Patorrat river, to the east.
