Hotel Portal del Matarraña is situated in the urban centre of Valjunquera. The building is the result of a comprehensive restoration of the old Casa Mendizabal, dating from the 16th century — a traditional farmhouse of the area that has preserved a spectacular entrance featuring two arches and a Castilian staircase remodelled in 1816. The hotel also has a small restaurant with a dining room and a private dining area.
