In Peñarroya de Tastavins stands the Ethnological Museum Lo Masmut, housed within two restored traditional dwellings. Inside, a permanent ethnology exhibition titled "Traditional Life and Trades: Lo Masmut" can be found. The restored building hosting the permanent exhibition retains much of its original structure, including the cellar, stable, larder, hearth, and bedroom. The museum's permanent exhibition spans five floors (one of them underground) across a total of 9 rooms covering the following themes and activities: the wine cellar, the stable, winemaking, harvesting and threshing, the larder and bread-making, the hearth and dining room, the bedroom, carpentry and blacksmithing. The various rooms are documented through illustrated panels that explain in detail and reflect the majority of the exhibited pieces, as well as the traditional ways of life and everyday tasks of the inhabitants of the Comarca del Matarraña up to the mid-20th century. The space can be visited during the guided tours offered by the Peñarroya de Tastavins Tourism Office.
