The Cooperativa de Aceites del Matarraña, S.C.L. is a first-degree cooperative founded in 1988. It was formed with members from the base cooperatives of the villages of Arens de Lledó, Calaceite, and Cretas. Subsequently, members from the cooperatives of Torre del Compte, La Fresneda, and La Portellada also joined. The Cooperativa de Aceites del Matarraña, S.C.L. operates within the Designation of Origin of Bajo Aragón, ensuring the quality of the oils produced. The cooperative's activity consists of receiving olives in order to produce and market the oil and olives of its members. The cooperative offers guided tours of its oil mill by prior booking.
