La Casa del Lago enjoys a unique location, just 20 metres from the shore of the Pena reservoir, in the municipality of Beceite. The house, built in natural stone, has two habitable floors plus a storage room/battery room, and sleeps 4 guests. On the first floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven, plus a large combined fridge-freezer. This same space contains the living-dining room with a large table, a double sofa bed and several armchairs, as well as a fireplace that adds a very cosy touch in autumn and winter. From this floor there is access to the main terrace and a secondary one, both offering beautiful views of the lake. On the second floor there are two double rooms with single beds and a full bathroom with a spacious shower. Up a short staircase from the main entrance there is another terrace with a barbecue and a dining table. The house is completely self-sufficient: energy is solar and water is channelled from natural springs. It has Wi-Fi, heating, hot water and a generator for emergencies. There is no TV. Board games, inflatables and various accessories are also available for an enjoyable swim in the lake.
