Olivera de la Fosseta

From Mazaleón, take the old road to Valdeltormo, signposted as a mountain bike route, which starts behind the school buildings. After crossing the Vall d'Alcanyis, follow approximately 3 kilometres along an agricultural track, and on the right you will find this majestic olive tree.

On a dry stone wall in the locality of La Fosseta stands this centuries-old specimen, estimated to be around 748 years old, of unknown variety. It has two large forks and several swellings where the tree's sap accumulates.
