Matarraña honey
In the Matarraña region there are two periods of full blossom, in spring and autumn, from which a honey of extraordinary subtlety and aroma is obtained, recalling the floral origin from which it comes.
The main wild plants used to produce the honey are rosemary, thyme and lavender, as well as almond blossom, bringing a diversity of nuances to each harvest. The resulting honey depends on the age of the bees, the predominant types of flowers, the season and the flowering period, making each batch a unique experience.
In general terms, Matarraña honey is amber in colour, with a somewhat thick consistency that can turn almost white when it crystallises, a sign of its purity and quality.
