During the summer months, all the villages of the Matarraña celebrate their major patron saint festivals, dedicated to the patron saints of each locality. The patronages are shared among la Virgen de la Asunción, San Roque, Santiago, San Sebastián, San Bartolomé, San Miguel and la Virgen del Pilar, among others.

Young bulls, outdoor dances, communal meals and the activities of the local festive clubs make these days the festive highlight of the year in each village. The calendar runs from June to September, so it is common to find a festival in some locality every weekend.

Added to this is the Trobada Cultural del Matarranya, a travelling festival organised by the Asociación Cultural del Matarraña that visits one of the comarca's villages each summer.
