Pedales del Matarraña

Pedales del Matarraña is a circular mountain biking (MTB and e-bike) route proposal, covering mainly forest tracks and mid-mountain trails across the Comarca del Matarraña (Teruel). Starting and finishing in Beceite, it unfolds over 4 stages through the most spectacular spots in the comarca, passing through 14 villages. Each stage covers 40–60 km with 1,500 m of elevation gain. In total you ride 194 km with approximately 4,900 m of positive elevation. It is a medium-to-high difficulty cycling route designed for people with a reasonable level of fitness who regularly go out with an MTB or e-bike in the mountains. The route is offered as both a guided and a self-guided cycling tour for nature lovers, sportspeople and mountain cyclists who want to explore remote natural environments and live unique experiences. Pedales del Matarraña was created in 2019, can be completed in 3, 4 or 5 stages, and is part of the Pedales del Mundo network, which also launched the Pedales de los Ports route in 2011.
