Dry-stone walling workshop in Cretas

The Heritage Department of the Comarca del Matarraña/Matarranya has organised the third edition of a workshop on the dry-stone construction technique.

The workshop is divided into two parts: a theoretical session on Friday, June 26th, at the Cultural Centre of Cretas, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and a practical session, led by Jordi Colat, focusing on the construction and repair of retaining walls or 'margens', to be held on Saturday, June 27th, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., also in Cretas.

No prior knowledge is required; participants must be adults and should bring work footwear and clothing, gloves, a cap, sun protection and water. Transport to the practical session venues is each participant's responsibility.
