La Portellada Main Festival

La Portellada's main festival from Thursday, September 24th to Monday, September 28th

9:00 PM Luncheon dinner and barrel tapping.

13:00 h.   Giant figures parade

1:15 p.m. Ringing of bells and firing of rockets announce the start of the festivities. Popular refreshments in the square. If you don't have a wristband, the price will be €5.

5:00 p.m. Puppet show for all ages with Las Liantas. Hot chocolate afterwards.

7:30 p.m. Gathering of festival groups in the Town Hall Square to hear the opening proclamation. The opening firework will be launched, followed by sangria for everyone. Afterwards, a gastronomic tour (tickets required) will take place, visiting the various festival groups and accompanied by the brass band “Sempre Sone Bé”. The tour will end in Miguel Cardona Square, where a bingo game will be played.

00:30 h.   Las Vegas themed mega-disco and the beginning of the carrot game.

11:00 a.m. Flowered Diana and parade by the San Antón Regional Band.

11:45 a.m. Procession of the Blessed Bread from the Town Hall Square to the Church, dressed in regional costume and accompanied by the Authorities and the San Antón Regional Band

12:00 h. Solemn Mass and procession in honor of Saint Cosmas and Saint Damian.

5:00 p.m. Inter-club football tournament at the sports center.

6:00 PM. Jota dance festival by Malandia in the Plaza de la Iglesia (Church Square). Chocolate and a sedative will be served afterward.

8:00 p.m. Opening of the exhibition “Communions of Yesterday and Today”.

8:30 p.m. Zander Orchestra.

00:00 h. Gathering – Costume Contest: theme “costumes with the letter B”. Meeting point: Plaza de la Iglesia and from there to Plaza Miguel Cardona.

1:00 a.m. Night session with the “Zander” orchestra, with a super bingo during the break.

4:30 a.m. Mobile Disco.

12:00 to 14:30. Children's playground at the Sports Centre.

12:00 h. Holy Mass in honor of Saint Roch and Saint Isidore.

2:30 p.m. Brotherhood Meal at the Sports Centre.

3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Children's playground at the Sports Centre.

4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Games for all ages.

5:00 p.m. Afternoon dance with Duo Palenzuela at the sports center. This session features the "Lantern Dance".

11:00 PM. First Karaoke competition for local groups at the Cultural Center, prizes for participating groups.

11:30 a.m. Departure from the Church Square towards the Hermitage of San Miguel.

12:00 pm. Holy Mass at the Hermitage in honor of Saint Michael. Afterwards, pastries and muscatel wine will be distributed.

4:00 PM. Guiñote Championship .

4:30 p.m. Children's games and snack.

7:00 PM. Grand closing show at the Burearte festival. If you don't have a wristband, the price will be €5.

9:00 PM. Community snack with grilled sardines. If you don't have a wristband, the price will be €5.

Finally, fireworks and a grand finale, provided that safety and weather conditions allow it.
