Description:
Itinerary from the town of La Fresneda to the monastery of the Virgen de Gracia. The starting point is La Fresneda town hall square; you pass through the Portal de Xifré, and 50 metres further on you turn left following the signposts for the Monastery of the Virgen de Gracia. Always follow the main track and the signs, and/or the white and yellow markers (PR) indicating the direction of the Monastery. The caminos is a forest track used by motor vehicles, and the landscape has been considerably shaped by human activity, with plantations of almond and olive trees.
After about 5 km you will reach the remains of the sanctuary of the Virgen de Gracia, a hermitage (chapel) dating from the 18th century.
